Online privacy concerns focus on the protection of "customer identifiable" information which an individual or other customer reasonably expects to be kept private.
As the term suggests, "customer identifiable" information is information which can be associated with a specific individual or entity, including, for example, a customer's name, address, or telephone number, e-mail address, and information about online activities that are directly linked to them.
It is common practice and often a necessity for companies, governments, or other organizations to collect customer identifiable information in order to conduct business and offer services.
For example, our company might collect name, address, e-mail, and telephone information in order to find a dealer close to your location.
In those cases, a cookie is placed on your machine so the dealer information is readily available when you return to our site.
Similarly, business web sites may ask visitors to supply information about themselves, particularly when information, services or merchandise are requested, but often simply to be able to better target the company's services to the customer's interests and requirements.

The RTR Group Online Privacy Policy
The RTR Group established the following Online Privacy Policy to protect customer identifiable information.
This policy covers The RTR Group and applies to all customer identifiable information that The RTR Group obtains when a customer registers for or uses our online dealer locator or quote generation service.
The RTR Group protects online customer information as follows:
Disclosure: The RTR Group will not sell, trade, or disclose to third parties other than the customer's appropriate local dealer any customer identifiable information derived from the registration or use of the dealer locator or quote service -- including customer names and addresses -- without the consent of the customer (except as required by subpoena, search warrant, or other legal process or in the case of imminent physical harm to the customer or others).
When The RTR Group uses other agents, contractors or companies to perform services on its behalf, The RTR Group will ensure that the company protects your customer identifiable information consistent with this Policy.
Collection and Use: The RTR Group will collect and use customer identifiable information for locating the appropriate Trilogy Pool dealer, to generate a quote for Do-it-yourself kit pricing, or to create and inform you of products and services that better meet your needs.
This means that The RTR Group may use your customer identifiable information, in conjunction with information available from other sources, to market new services that we think will be of interest to you, but we will not disclose your customer identifiable information to third parties who want to market products to you.
On submitting a request for quote or using the Dealer Locator, your customer identifiable information is given to the dealer that serves your area.
